At end of Corolla when road ends and you begin going over the cattle grate hit your odometer. Go exactly 2.4 miles and turn left onto Munson Lane at milepost 15. Drive to the back of the 4 big homes Sunnybank is in the second on your left.
There is a very sharp curve on your left before the paved road ends which is a great place to park to let air out of your tires. Right there is a beautiful scenic board walk to the sound that you should check out if you are too early for check in at Sunnybank or if the kids need to run off some energy while you do your tire thing. After that on your right there is a parking lot, Head Wind Way, which is also another good location to park and take air out. Don’t park on the ramp and block traffic while you are doing your air thing.
The only secret to not EVER having any difficulty on sand is to simply let about 10 lbs. of air out of your tires. TAKE AN AIR GAGE AND USE IT. No worries, Just a piece of cake & tons of fun & relaxation on your short 2 mile drive up the beach. Get 4 Air gages at Wal-Mart for 84 cents each and then each person can do one tire and you’ll be ready in 2 minutes for your drive on the beach. You can drive on 18 or 20 lbs of pressure all week long. Just fill them back up before you start your drive back home.
